In 1995, the Garden Writers Association began Plant a Row for the Hungry (PAR), a national program where community members grow extra vegetables in their gardens to help feed the hungry in their area.
Loveland Youth Gardeners initiated Loveland PAR in 2005. To date, the large community network that makes up Loveland PAR has contributed over 201,000 lbs. of produce to needy families in our community.
If you would like to participate in Loveland PAR, simply take your fresh veggies, fruit and/or herbs to one of the following locations and tell them it’s for Plant a Row!
