Loveland Youth Gardeners will be hiring three interns for the summer programs of 2017! We look for responsible, dependable interns (usually college age or older) who enjoy, or are looking for experience, in the classroom and garden working with youth with extra life challenges.
Intern with the Youth Gardening Program (YGP): The YGP intern will work with the Program Director and volunteers to support up to 15 young people (ages 13-18) develop skills, stewardship, and service over the summer. The program meets Monday-Thursday morning, for 10 weeks in the summer and is a combination classroom/job site. Occasional hours in May and September and a few Saturdays are required as well. $500 stipend. For a more detailed job description and application, click here. (Filled for 2017)
Intern with the Leaf Out Gardening Program (LOGP): The LOGP intern will assist the Leaf Out Gardening Program Supervisor in supporting up to 8 student Gardeners (16-21) in intensive job and life skill development through gardening business and service projects for 10 weeks in the summer. Hours in May and September and occasional Saturdays are required as well. $500 stipend. For a more detailed job description and application, click here.
