Educational Experiences to Grow a Healthy Body and World!
We have both 1-day and 1-week camps!

Green Adventures is an educational experience for young people, ages 5-12. Students learn about nurturing the environment, their community and their bodies in a fun, hands-on setting.  Green Adventures is taught by BFK teacher and past recipient of “Teacher of the Year”, Bill Wride.

2017 Green Adventures 1-Week Summer Camps, for ages 5-12

Monday-Friday; 9 am-12 noon
$75.00 per week (includes daily, healthy snack)
$10.00 discount when registering for multiple camps or other siblings.

Bug Buddies!
Be an entomologist for a week!  Discover the world of insects that are everywhere!  Catch, study, and release insects in a variety of settings.  Learn about insect bodies, how they move and how they change and grow!  Build your own “bug friendly” insect catching device.  Non-stop fun in “Bug Buddies!”

Dates: July 24 – 28,2017

Green Adventures 1-Day Summer Camps

Treasure Hunt
When: Saturday, July 15

Fun with Farm Animals
This will be a fun, friendly interaction with the animals who live in the world around us: chickens, goats, bunnies, etc. Learn what they eat, how to care for them, what it feels like to touch them, where they live, and how they communicate.
When: Wednesday, August 2
Location: LYG, 907 S. Lincoln Ave., Loveland
